Singapore: Day 31

Because I went out last night to celebrate my birthday and did not pull the complete all-nighter I planned, I had to miss work today to submit all my applications. My Leadership Award was due around 9 AM, and as soon as I finished that I moved onto my application for the SASE Regional Conference. Thankfully I had already submitted my other two applications beforehand. The rush was terrible for the heart, and even after I finished them I had to complete my Reach the World articles and ISF 187 homework assignments. It was an insane day, but I am glad to finally be done with these applications! Now I only have one left: the Biology Fellows Program. Fingers crossed that I will be successful!

I ended the day with the cake slice that Emily and Laney gifted me. Cakes are very expensive in Singapore, so I was beyond thankful to these two for purchasing a slice of cake. I ate it a day late and the cake was a bit spoiled, but I still enjoyed every single bite. After all, it's the heart that matters right? :)
