Singapore: Day 9

Today, I woke up at 1 PM. It felt wonderful to finally sleep to my hearts content after days of sleep deprivation and exhaustion. We didn't have any plans for today because we left this day to rest before our internship commenced on Monday. I webcammed with my parents shortly after I woke up and updated them about my life so far in Singapore. My parents severely missed me, because it is my first time being so far away from home and for such a long length of time as well. I am not home sick yet, but I'm sure I will fall to it when my internship and academics here become stressful. I'm actually very worried about the research internship, because I am not sure how the Singaporean standards are.
