Singapore: Day 16

Sundays have become my lazy days. Today, I finally caught up on sleep (I've only been sleeping 4 to 5 hours a night for the past week) and woke up around 2 PM. It felt amazing to wake up without having a headache or feeling tired for once! Afterward, I did some work on my laptop: I started my applications for the SASE West Regional Conference as well as another scholarship application, checked and answered my emails, submitted my agreement with Reach the World, and worked on some homework for my classes. It's difficult to keep in touch with those back home, as the time difference is inconvenient, and with the errands remaining in Berkeley and fulfill my tasks in Singapore at the same time. It is definitely something I need to learn, and hopefully I will become more responsible and wise with my time with this experience! Around 7 PM, I grabbed dinner at NUH with Emily, Laney, and Nicole. I ordered an all vegetarian dish, as I've been concerned with my lack of greens and wanted to eat healthily for once.
Delicious greens, at last!
After dinner, we headed to Dr. Bean for dessert; I ordered a soya milk and a peanut butter pastry! We headed back to PGPR and separated ways. I continued my work and of course procrastinated as usual. I have safety training all day tomorrow (8:45 AM - 5:30 PM), so I must head to bed soon!
