Hi everyone!
I'm Christine, and I'm a rising third year at UC Berkeley. I created this blog to document my two-month study abroad experience in Singapore and my journey for self-discovery throughout the remainder of my college career and beyond. After a destructive semester in Fall 2012, I decided to take on a journey to change myself-- I took classes on "Effective Personal Ethics for the 21st Century" and "Individual and Community Health", both of which were life-changing, and met with mentors that changed my view of myself, society, my role in it, and what success means. During this time, I maintained correspondence with a UC Berkeley alumnus and Harvard research associate and met weekly with a UC Berkeley professor. These two relationships were pivotal in my personal growth. This study abroad experience, I hope, will consolidate what I've learned and push me to my grounded state. Well, here goes!
